UFCW Canada Local 1006A flags flew high over Brockville as union members, staff and friends marched through the downtown on Saturday, July 16, 2016 for the city’s annual Pride Parade.
The community event started at Brockville Armoury and ended at Hardy Park.
UFCW Canada Local 1006A’s Women’s Issues Network (WIN) Region 3 hosted its first yard sale of the year, raising $1,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada. An additional $125 was raised and donated to Red Door Family Shelter, an organization which provides services for families and individuals who need safe and supportive emergency shelter.

Local 1006A members at Dewe’s Your Independent Grocer in Belleville ratified a fair union contract with wage increases and other improvements.
UFCW Canada Local 1006A was proud to celebrate Toronto Pride from July 1 to July 3, 2016. Members, activists and staff joined more than a million Pride participants for the Trans March on July 1, Dyke March on July 2 and the Pride Parade on July 3.

Participants and passengers will take an enjoyable motorcycle ride through Ontario's most beautiful country roads for a good cause.
Last year, our the Ride raised $8,000 to help the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada achieve their mission.
