Norah Rae knows first hand the devastating impact that cancer can have. Rae, a steward at Rexall Pharmacy in Guelph, has seen both her husband and her sister-in-law suffer. That’s why when Rae got a chance to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada, she jumped right in.
Rae raised more than $900, making her the top fundraiser at the Annual Ride for a Cure event. The event, co-hosted by Local 1000A and Local 175 & 633, drew 37 riders and generated more than $10,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.
