Workers at Darling International’s processing plant recently voted to join UFCW 1006A, just weeks after the workers in the company’s fleet division also opted for unionization.
From wage increases to pension improvements, members at SSP Canada (Toronto Pearson International Airport) have ratified a new union contract with several improvements.
After three days of voting, from July 11 to July 14, members working at No Frills voted 96% in favour of a strike mandate.
Workers at Darling International Canada have voted overwhelmingly to join UFCW 1006A.
