UFCW 1006A was proud to welcome local union stewards to our Women's Issues Network meeting on April 21, 2026.
Chaired by 1006A Recorder Glacier Effs-Samuel, the meeting brought together long-time members of the committee, along with first-time guest participants who had indicated interest at the Stewards' Conference.
Members discussed supporting mental health, ending gender-based violence against women and children, elimininating the gender wage-gap, and supporting women's representation.
