Local 1006A members joined UFCW Canada delegates at the Young Workers Summit hosted by the Canadian Labour Congress (CLC) from October 22 to 24. The summit brought together 400+ young workers from various unions across the country.
Carrying lanterns of hope, Ottawa members, staff and supporters rallied to raise more than $1,300 for the Light the Night walk in Landsdowne Park.
UFCW Canada Local 1006A members, staff and officers took to the streets of Toronto for the Light the Night Walk on October 20, 2016, raising nearly $6,400 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.
