
UFCW 1006A members, who work as bus mechanics at Tok Performance in Richmond Hill, have ratified a new union contract.
The term of the contract is from October 1, 2025 to October 1, 2030 and covers nearly 60 members.
“UFCW 1006A negotiators are highly skilled and experienced. With the support of the membership, they continue to achieve strong contracts for our members working in public transit across Ontario,” said President Wayne Hanley. “Congratulations to our members at Tok Performance on their new union contract.”
Tok Transit and Performance are contracted to operate York Region Transit (YRT) services throughout York Region.
Negotiations were led by Executive Assistant to the President, Frank Ragni and Recorder Glacier Effs-Samuel.
