UFCW Canada Local 1006A members were among those who competed in the 9th annual York Region Transit/Viva Bus Roadeo this summer to demonstrate their safe driving skills.
The members, who participated, are from Tok Transit Newmarket and Tok Transit Viva.
Congratulations to the members and supporters of WIN Region 6, who held a community yard sale on Saturday, July 23, 2016 and raised $501 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.
UFCW Canada Local 1006A members working at Baton Rouge in Ottawa recently voted to ratify their first-ever union contract with gains for all workers.
Ratified on July 19, 2016, the contract runs from May 15, 2016 to May 14, 2019 and covers 65 members.
