
UFCW Canada Local 1006A is proud to have raised $100,006 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada in the past year.
The money was raised through union events and member fundraising initiatives across Ontario.

UFCW Canada Local 1006A hosted its first Members’ Day at Canada’s Wonderland on June 18, 2016.
“It was amazing to connect with so many of our members—thank you to everyone who came out and made Local 1006A’s Member’s Day such a success,” said President Wayne Hanley.

Workers at Korea Food Trading, an importing and distributing company, voted ‘YES’ to become members of UFCW Canada Local 1006A.
The vote took place on June 16, 2016. The bargaining unit will be made up of approximately 25 workers who work in purchasing, sales and warehousing.
